Testimonials from the professionals who are associated with the trail race and ultra running.
Ultra Runner & Vice President of NARF
As a trail runner and an advocate for adventure sports, I am thrilled to share my experience with the Nepal Adventure Running Federation. Despite being a newly formed federation in its initial phase, NARF has already made significant strides in making trail running more organized and powerful in Nepal. NARF’s commitment to safety, professionalism, and the development of adventure running is commendable. They have worked tirelessly to create safe and challenging race events that showcase the stunning landscapes of Nepal. From the rugged trails of the Kathmandu valley rim to the majestic peaks of the Annapurna region, NARF’s races provide a unique and exhilarating experience for runners.
Nepali Long Distance Runner and Coach
As a seasoned trail runner and coach, I am thrilled by the Nepal Adventure Running Federation (NARF). Despite its early stages, NARF has significantly advanced Nepal's trail running scene, with the Manjushree Trail Race (MTR) being Nepal’s only ITRA-certified 100-mile race. NARF also boosts community engagement and tourism with events like the Jumla Rara Ultra Marathon. These efforts are putting Nepal on the map for ultra and trail running. As a trail runner, I am proud and excited for NARF’s future.
Vetran Trail Runner & General Secretary of NARF
As an avid trail runner and passionate advocate for adventure sports, I would like to celebrate the transformative impact of the Manjushree Trail Race (MTR) and the Nepal Adventure Running Federation (NARF). The MTR, Nepal’s first 100-mile ultra marathon, winds along the Kathmandu Valley ridge, crossing seven peaks and two national parks. Meanwhile, NARF, in its initial phase, aims to organize and empower trail running, putting Nepal on the global map for ultra and trail runners. My commitment to both endeavors exemplifies the spirit of adventure and community.
